Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you book coaching sessions or purchase members-area access at getreadyexam.co.uk ("the Service"). The Service is operated by ABPS Health Limited ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, trading as "Get Ready". By completing a booking you agree to these terms.
1. The service
We provide one-to-one exam and interview coaching for the ST3 Plastic Surgery National Selection interview and the FRCS (Plast) Part B examination, delivered online by video call, together with time-limited access to a members area containing study materials, recordings, podcasts and a tutor Q&A service.
2. Bookings and membership
- Sessions are booked against published availability. Your booking is confirmed only once payment has been received and you see a confirmation screen or email.
- Each package includes members-area access for a fixed period from the date of purchase: £300 packages — 1 month; £600 and £1,100 packages — 3 months; £1,200 packages — 6 months. Access ends automatically when the period expires.
- You may reschedule any session free of charge up to 48 hours before its start time, using the "My bookings" section of the members area.
- If you miss a session without rescheduling in time, that session is forfeited.
- If we need to cancel or move a session, we will offer you a new time or a pro-rata refund for the affected session.
3. Your account
Your login is personal to you. You must keep your password confidential and must not share your account or members-area access with anyone else. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe are being shared or misused.
4. Materials and intellectual property
All members-area materials — documents, question banks, recordings, podcasts — are our copyright or used with permission. They are provided for your personal exam preparation only. You must not copy, share, republish, sell or distribute them, and access ends when your membership period expires.
5. Important disclaimers
- We provide coaching and preparation support. We do not and cannot guarantee any particular interview score, ranking, exam result or career outcome.
- The Service is independent. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Royal College of Surgeons, the JCST, NHS England, any deanery, or any other selection or examining body. Our materials are our own interpretation of publicly available formats.
- Q&A answers and session feedback are educational opinions offered in good faith, not professional careers, legal or clinical advice.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of earnings or missed career opportunities.
7. General
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancelling a booking
- 14 days or more before your first booked session: you may cancel for a full refund.
- Less than 14 days before your first booked session: the booking can no longer be cancelled for a refund, but you may still reschedule any session free of charge up to 48 hours before its start time.
- Once your first session has taken place, no refund is payable for that package.
Effect on members access
If a purchase is refunded, the members-area access included with it ends immediately.
Your statutory cooling-off right
When you buy online you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because your purchase includes immediate access to digital content (the members area) and may include sessions scheduled within 14 days, by completing checkout you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that: (a) once you access the members area, you lose the right to cancel in respect of that digital content; and (b) if we fully perform booked sessions at your request within the cooling-off period, the right to cancel those sessions is lost. This does not affect your other statutory rights, including where a service is not performed with reasonable care and skill.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 working days. To request a cancellation or refund, use the "Ask your tutor" section of the members area or email us (address below).
Privacy Policy
ABPS Health Limited is the data controller for personal data processed through getreadyexam.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Account details — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash): to create and operate your members account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Booking data — the sessions, packages and times you book, and your session history: to deliver the service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Payment data — payments are processed entirely by Stripe on its own secure pages. We never see or store your card details; we keep only the amount, date and a Stripe payment reference. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation (accounting records).
- Questions and messages — anything you send through the tutor Q&A: to answer you and improve our teaching. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Session reminders — your reminder preference and email, used to send a reminder before booked sessions. You can switch reminders off in "My bookings" at any time.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of processors to run the Service: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Netlify (website hosting), Stripe (payments) and, where enabled, Resend (transactional email). Each processes data on our instructions under their own security and data-processing terms. Some processors may store data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores an essential authentication token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in; it is removed when you sign out.
How long we keep data
Account, booking and Q&A data are kept while your account is active and for up to 6 years afterwards where needed for tax, accounting or legal purposes, then deleted. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see below); we will delete data we are not legally required to retain.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
